Do you use solar lights or hardwired systems?
We install hardwired 12V low-voltage LED systems exclusively. Solar fixtures dim quickly under Vancouver's winter cloud cover and rarely last more than a season or two, whereas a properly installed low-voltage system delivers consistent, bright output year-round and typically runs for 15-20 years on quality brass or copper fixtures.

Individual fixtures are around $150-$300 installed including wiring and splices, and the stainless steel transformer adds $400-$1,200 depending on wattage. How long does installation take?

Will the wiring survive Vancouver winters and wet soil?
