Do I buy the lights, or are they included?
The lights are included, our service is all-inclusive and we lease commercial-grade LED strands to you season over season. You never deal with tangled strands in the attic, and any bulb or strand that fails mid-season is replaced on us. At the end of the display period we remove, test, and store everything off-site.
How much does a Christmas light install cost in Vancouver?
Most single-family homes in Vancouver and the North Shore land between $1,200 and $4,500 for design, install, lease, removal, and storage. Rooflines alone on a bungalow run closer to $1,200-$1,800; full packages with tree wrapping, wreaths, and pathway lighting on larger homes reach $3,500-$4,500. Commercial buildings and estate properties are quoted separately.
When should I book, and when do you install?
Book by late September or early October, popular install windows fill quickly and we cap our schedule to maintain quality. Installations run from mid-October through late November, and most clients have lights on a timer ready to switch on Grey Cup weekend or December 1st. Takedown happens in January, weather permitting.
Will the lights hold up in Vancouver's rain and wind?
Yes. We use outdoor-rated commercial LED strands, weatherproof connectors, and GFCI-protected circuits designed for coastal BC weather. Clips are chosen to match your roof material, no nails, no staples, no damage to shingles or fascia. Windstorms on the North Shore are factored into how we secure ridgelines and tree wraps.
Do you install on tall roofs and heritage homes?
We install up to three stories using proper fall-protection and ladder standoffs, which covers most Vancouver homes including Shaughnessy and Kitsilano heritage properties. For turrets, slate roofs, or anything beyond standard access we do a site visit first to confirm safe anchoring before we quote.
